About the Webmaster
My Name is David Fleenor and I attended Fork Union Military Academy for six years (82-88). Below you will find some interesting before and after photos of myself. The first is from the University of Georgia, second is a more recent picture at a track meet and the third is me (taken by Capt. Dan Thompson, FUMA).
While at FUMA the I participated on three X-C State Championship teams, 3 Prep X-C Championship teams, 1 Indoor Prep Championship team, 2 Prep Outdoor championship teams and 1 State Outdoor championship team. The outdoor team is the team that started the current undefeated streak of 20 years.
I am a big supporter of Fork Union Military academy and a fan of the Virginia Independent Schools. Competing in the VIS the rivalry and sportsmanship is second to none. These competitors train extremely hard to beat one another only to shake hands and share a laugh after the race is done.
Enjoy the pictures. I am not a professional, but an aspiring amateur. Please have humor during my self-taught development. By my experience, I usually will have all photos up on the site by the first Monday after the meet. Check the schedule to see if I attended the meets listed.
